Application Process
Apply to the New Graduate RN position. The application links will be available December 1, 2021 through January 17, 2022.
- Use the instructions that apply to you:
- Current Atrium Health teammates: search the internal career site using keyword "New Graduate RN" or requisition 28352 to apply.
- External applicants: submit your application here
- All applicants may find the position using search keywords "New Graduate RN" or requisition 28352
- Save your resume and cover letter as your full name followed by “resume” or “cover letter” (i.e. Jan Smith resume and Jan Smith cover letter).
- Attach resume and cover letter. In your cover letter tell us why you want to become part of the nursing team at Atrium Health. Because your information will be shared with multiple specialties, we recommend you do not address specific departments or residency programs in your cover letter.
- If you have an American Heart Association BLS Provider card that is valid through December 2022, attach a copy in the “Supporting/Misc. Documents” section on the New Graduate application. Save the BLS card as your full name followed by “BLS” (i.e. Jan Smith BLS). If you do not have a CPR card which meets this criterion, it will not prevent you from participating in the process.
- You can save your work and come back to complete it at any time. However, you will need to enter all required information (anything with a * next to it) before you can save your application.
Complete the Areas of Interest Survey
- The Areas of Interest Survey will assist the New Graduate Center in matching your clinical and facility interests with available opportunities.
Note: If all components are not submitted, the application packet will be considered incomplete and will not be forwarded to hiring managers for consideration. All application components are due by 11:59 pm on January 17, 2022.
Next Steps Once Application Is Complete
- Once all components of the application packet are received, the New Graduate RN Center will notify you via email.
- The New Graduate RN Center will screen and forward application packets to hiring managers for review. Hiring managers will then select and contact candidates for interviews.
- The New Graduate RN Center’s goal is to share your application packet with the areas you indicated on the Areas of Interest Survey. Opportunities in specialty areas such as Pediatrics and Maternal-Newborn, for example, are limited and highly competitive. We recommend selecting all residency programs that you are open to considering, as this will increase your chances of receiving interviews.
- Please only select facilities where you are willing to work. If you are unsure of the facility location, please utilize the hyperlinks in the Areas of Interest Survey.
- Your information could be shared with multiple locations and hiring managers. Hiring managers will contact you to schedule interviews.
- Please ensure the phone number and email address listed on your resume are current.
- Once a hiring decision is made, hiring managers will notify the New Graduate RN Center. All official offers will come from the New Graduate RN Center.
