Application Process
Apply to the New Graduate RN requisition (up to three). The application links will be available December 9 through January 20, 2023.
- Use the instructions that apply to you:
- Current Atrium Health Teammates must apply internally: Search the internal career site using keyword "New Graduate RN" and apply using your Atrium Health email address.
- External Candidates: Search our career site using keyword "New Graduate RN" and apply.
- You may apply for up to three requisitions at a time. Requisitions will be available December 9, 2022. You may choose from the following:
- Adult Acute Care
- Adult Acute Care- Ambulatory
- Adult Acute Care- Behavioral Health
- Adult Acute Care- Rehabilitation
- Adult Critical Care
- Continuing Care
- Emergency Department
- Oncology
- Post Anesthesia Care (PACU)
- Pediatrics and Neonatal
- Perioperative (OR)
- Women's services
- Attach your resume and cover letter.
- Application: Include all clinical and relevant work experience, volunteer service or projects.
- Cover Letter: It is recommended, you share why you wish to begin your nursing career at Atrium Health. This will be shared with multiple locations and leaders, so refrain from referencing specific facilities or departments of interest.
- If you have an American Heart Association BLS Provider card that is valid through December 2023, attach a copy in the “Supporting/Misc. Documents” section on the New Graduate application. If you do not have a CPR card which meets this criterion, it will not prevent you from participating in the process.
Note: Completed applications are due by 11:59 pm on January 20, 2023.
Residency Tracks:
Adult Acute Care
Specialty areas include: Ambulatory Practices, Behavioral Health, Cardiac-Telemetry, Epilepsy, Medical-Surgical, Neuroscience, Observation, Orthopedics, Post-Surgical, Progressive Care, Rehabilitation and Renal
Adult Critical Care
12-month service commitment upon completion of extended orientation.
Start dates are assigned based on unit of hire
Continuing Care
Specialty areas include: Skilled Nursing, Home Health and Hospice
Emergency Department
Start dates are offered twice per year.
Neonatal
Specialty areas include the Intensive and Progressive Care Nurseries.
Start dates are offered twice per year.
Oncology
Inpatient and Ambulatory settings, including Bone Marrow Transplant, Infusion Center, Clinics and Clinical Trials
Pediatric
Specialty areas include: Pediatric Acute & Progressive Care, Pediatric Emergency Department and Pediatric and Cardiovascular ICU
Perioperative (OR)
12-month service commitment upon completion of extended orientation.
Start dates are offered twice per year.
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Start dates are offered twice per year.
Women's Services
Specialty areas include: Labor & Delivery, High Risk Pre/Post Partum and Mother-Baby.
Start dates are offered twice per year.
