Application Process
Apply to the New Graduate RN position. The application links will be available August 1, 2022 through September 26, 2022.
- Use the instructions that apply to you:
- Current Atrium Health Teammates: Search the internal career site using keyword "New Graduate RN" and apply using your Atrium Health email address.
- External Candidates: Search our career site using keyword "New Graduate RN" and apply.
- Attach your resume and cover letter. Save your resume and cover letter as your full name followed by “resume” or “cover letter” (i.e. Jan Smith resume and Jan Smith cover letter).
- Things to include in cover letter: Tell us why you want to become apart of the nursing team at Atrium Health. This will be shared with multiple locations and leaders, so please refrain from referencing specific facilities or departments of interest.
- If you have an American Heart Association BLS Provider card that is valid through May 2023, attach a copy in the “Supporting/Misc. Documents” section on the New Graduate application. Save the BLS card as your full name followed by “BLS” (i.e. Jan Smith BLS). If you do not have a CPR card which meets this criterion, it will not prevent you from participating in the process.
Complete the New Graduate Survey (Please only complete one survey)
- The New Graduate Survey information will be utilized by the recruitment team to keep you informed of hiring events, interview sessions and the status of opportunties for residency tacks.
Note: If all components are not submitted, the application packet will be considered incomplete and will not be forwarded to hiring managers for consideration. All application components are due by 11:59 pm on September 26, 2022.

Adult Acute Care
Clinical areas include: Ambulatory Practices, Behavioral Health, Cardiac-Telemetry, Epilepsy, ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery), Medical-Surgical, Neuroscience, Observation, Orthopedics, Post-Surgical, Progressive Care, Rehabilitation and Renal
Adult Critical Care
12-month service commitment upon completion of extended orientation. Start dates are assigned based on unit of hire
Continuing Care
Clinical areas include: Skilled Nursing, Home Care and Hospice
Women’s Services
Clinical areas include: Labor & Delivery, High Risk Pre/Post-Partum and Mother-Baby
Neonatal
Clinicial areas include the Intensive and Progressive Care Nurseries. Start dates are offered twice per year.
Oncology
Inpatient and Ambulatory settings including: Bone Marrow Transplant, Infusion Center, Clinics and Clinical Trials
Pediatric
Clinical areas include: Pediatric Acute & Progressive Care, Pediatric Emergency Department and Pediatric and Cardiovascular ICU
Perioperative (OR)
12-month service commitment upon completion of extended orientation. Start dates are offered twice per year.
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Start dates are offered twice per year.
