At Atrium Health, we offer nurses two professional development programs designed to enhance career growth and provide advancement opportunities, while continuing patient care:
Nursing Career Progression Program (NCPP) is an advancement program designed for experienced nurses in oncology, surgical services, adult med/surg and more specialty areas. Internal and external candidates at participating locations are eligible for this program based on years of experience in a specialty area.
Professional Nurse Clinical Advancement Program (PNCAP) is an advancement program designed for experienced internal teammates who can apply, complete a clinical project and display evidence-based practice skills so they may function at their highest level of professionalism and be considered for promotion into leadership.
