Current Sign-On Bonuses
Registered Nurses – Greater Charlotte and Rural Markets: Up to $20,000
- Paid in two installments
- Includes Clinics, Urgent Care, Resource Center, Home Health, Hospice and Flight Care positions
Inpatient New Graduate Registered Nurses – Greater Charlotte and Rural Markets: Up to $10,000
Rehab Nursing – Up to $20,000 FT (Days) and $25,000 FT (Nights) in Greater Charlotte and Rural Markets
Skilled Nursing – Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor: $15,000 FT and $7,500 PT
Inpatient Registered Nurse (Nights) – Greater Charlotte and Rural Markets: Up to $25,000
Registered Nurse Managers – Greater Charlotte and Rural Markets: $15,000
Registered Nurse, Clinical Lead, Clinical Nurse Program Coordinator and Nurse Manager – Levine Cancer Institute: $15,000 FT and $7,500 PT

Licensed Practical Nurses: Up to $15,000 and $7,500 (PT for Atrium Health @ Home only)

Surgical Technicians: $20,000 FT, $10,000 PT and $5,000 New Grads
- Paid in up to two installments
Healthcare Technicians and Nurse Aides: Up to $2,500

Nurse Aides – Skilled Nursing Facilities: $5,000 FT and $2,500 PT
Certified/ Registered Medical Assistants: Up to $7,500
Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists (All Non-Bedside) – Rehabilitation Services (MSKI, LCI, Children Services, Women Services, Atrium Health @ Home and Speech): $15,000 FT and $7,500 PT
Respiratory Therapists: Up to $15,000
Laboratory – Perfusion, MT, MLT, MLS/CLS, Histotechnicians & Cytotechnicians: Up to $10,000
Imaging – Radiology, Echo, CT, MRI, DX, Ultrasound: Up to $10,000

Language Services: Up to $1,500
Spanish Healthcare Interpreter – Greater Charlotte Region: $5,000 FT, $2,500 PT & $1,500 PRN
Pharmacy Technicians: Up to $6,000

Supervisor Organ Recovery Coordinator, Organ Recovery Coordinator I & II (LifeShare Dept): $5,000 FT
PSG Technologists – Sleep Medicine: $2,500 FT
Unarmed Security Officer – Security: $1,500 FT
Armed Security Officer – Security: $3,000 FT
Special Police Officer – Security: $5,000 FT
Athletic Trainers – Rehabilitation: $8,000 FT
Neurodiagnostic Tech: $2,000 FT
Dietitian/Nutritionist (CMC, LCH, Pineville, Cabarrus): $2,500 including PRN
Dietitian/Nutritionist (Lincoln, Cleveland, Anson, Stanly, Union): $3,500 includin PRN
Psychotherapist/Telemental Health Clinician – Behavioral Health: $3,000 FT
RN, LPN, Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Supervisor – Kidney Dialysis Unit (Greater Charlotte Area): $15,000 FT (Days) and $20,000 FT (Nights)
Bonus Payout Schedule, Eligibility and Rules
Bonuses paid in two (2) installments:
- First half of the bonus will be paid out after the completion of the first 90 days of employment.
- Second half of the bonus will be paid out after the completion of the first year (12 months) of employment.
- Bonuses are processed for payout the pay period after the anniversary dates.
Bonuses paid in three (3) installments:
- First installment will be paid out after the completion of the first 90 days of employment.
- Second installment will be paid out after the completion of the first year (12 months) of employment
- Final installment will be paid out after the completion of the second year (24 months) of employment.
- Bonuses are processed for payout the pay period after the anniversary dates.
Eligibility and Rules:
Eligible Teammates include:
- All new hires who meet the requirements of the bonus
- Previous employees who have been outside of Atrium Health for over one year
- Current employees who are transferring into the role for the first time. For example, PCA to RN
- PRN employees accepting a full-time position are eligible but must remain in the full-time role for a period of 12-months
- New hires outside of the Greater Charlotte area may also be eligible for relocation assistance.
- The payments will be a part of the compensation offered and will be subject to all applicable state, federal and FICA taxes
- Teammates must be actively on payroll in the qualifying full-time position at the time of bonus distribution or else payment is forfeited
- Teammates must be in good standing at the time of bonus distribution with no current disciplinary actions
- It can take up to two payroll periods after each benchmark for the funds to be received
