Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. LPNs are eligible for a bonus of $7,500 for Full Time positions. In addition to the sign-on bonus, new teammates at Atrium Health are eligible for robust benefits packages and paid time off.
Atrium Health Levine Children’s South Lake Pediatrics is looking for a Licensed Practice Nurse or CMA to join our team. Our practice has been a source of excellent pediatric care in the North Mecklenburg area for over 20 years. Located in Huntersville, we currently have 6 physicians and a lactation consultant. Our practice is open Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, with a half day on Saturday during winter months for newborns and acutely ill patients. Our clinical support staff, consisting of RN/LPN/RMA/CMA, provide patient care support, including vaccine administration and lab sample collection and testing.

Job Summary
Functions in the physician office or ambulatory care practice to provide nursing services in an office setting. Works as part of a care team to improve the execution of quality requirements, increase throughput, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall patient experience.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Must speak, read, and write Basic English fluently. Intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Manual finger dexterity.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in NC or SC (dependent on the practice's physical location) required. Graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing required. Previous medical office experience preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS cert required.
