Overview
The OBN Access Representative performs duties necessary to welcome, inform and assist patients and visitors presenting at the OB North Entrance. May serve as an initial contact for problems and concerns. Coordinates with volunteers and escorts for provision of services. Provides and maintains a soothing environment. Will also perform duties considered non-patient facing i.e., insurance verification, authorizations, notifications, and some patient access quality assurance functions. The OBN Access Representative reports to the Supervisor/Assistant Director of Patient Access Services.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
A. Education
1. High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required
B. Experience
1. One (1) previous year of related healthcare or customer service industries
