Overview
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for on‑going assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of a variety of organization‑wide education, orientation, and training activities, with a primary focus on the clinical setting. Functional roles include educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, change agent, role model and leader as a Professional Registered Nurse. Works closely with Department Based Educators, Department Directors and Assistant Directors. Facilitates compliance with designated accreditation/ regulatory organizations and standards.

What you will need:
Master's degree in Nursing.
Four (4) years clinical nursing experience in an acute care institution.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
Professional certification in clinical or education specialty.
BLS required; Advanced Life Support preferred.
Knowledge of current educational principles, teaching modalities, performance consultation, risk management, facilitation, and group dynamics. Understanding of competency-based education, licensure, and regulatory requirements.
Must have excellent presentation skills.
Prior teaching experience preferred.
