DBP Psychologist-Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics

We invite qualified child psychologists to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together within our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Division at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Our dynamic team currently consists of 4 developmental and behavioral pediatricians, 4 advanced practice providers,  3 psychotherapists and an excellent clinical and clerical support team.

In addition, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Psychology and Neuropsychology Division at Atrium Health featuring 7 Psychologists and 2 Psychotherapists. 
 
We have a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Clinic and are part of the NICU Follow Up Clinic, Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic and Feeding Clinic. We see a wide variety of cases and are  building a comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic, ADHD Consultation Clinic, Tourette’s Disorder Clinic and Learning Disabilities clinic  DBP has locations in Charlotte and Concord, NC. The psychologist will evaluate children with a wide range of disabilities and we anticipate the successful candidate to see a wide variety of disorders and be a part of the Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Clinic and Learning Disabilities Clinic.
 
Successful candidates for this full-time Pediatric Psychology non-tenure track faculty position must have completed an APA accredited doctoral program and internship with training in pediatric or child clinical psychology. The successful candidate will have experience with formal psychological testing, diagnostic interviewing skills and behavioral/cognitive-behavioral intervention with children and adolescents. We welcome applicants with interests or experience in training practicum students and/or postdoctoral fellows. Candidates must be a licensed or license-eligible pediatric or clinical psychologist in NC. Salary and benefits are competitive.
