Overview

The Payment Management Specialist Level reconciles and posts all payments received, electronic or paper, for assigned areas. This Specialist analyzes and addresses payment posting discrepancies, meeting departmental goals through a strong service-oriented approach and communication style. In addition to managing payment posting, this role may also process incoming mail.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconciles and postiselectronic payments and payments received by mail
  • Demonstrates ability to identify appropriate denial follow-up for AR team
  • Processes incoming mail
  • Strives for positive customer service experience.
  • Maintains reception desk/work areas.
  • Ensure sthat all activities related to payment posting meet department requirements, maximizes revenue collection, and achieves leading practice levels of performance.
  • Complies with all federal, state, and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Adhere sto Floyd Healthcare Management Inc. organizational policies and procedures for relevant location and job scope.
  • Completes other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
