Job Summary

This position is responsible for building talent pipelines by generating candidate leads through identifying, engaging, and networking with relevant talent pools. In partnership with the HR Consultant, internal clients and external networks, the Sourcing Specialist will provide strategic direction, maintain strong relationships, and provide subject matter expertise in one of the following areas: Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Campus Recruitment, Social Media, Community Relations, or Workforce Development. 

Essential Functions

Determines the attraction and recruitment strategy for nursing, allied health and non-clinical roles while ensuring alignment to business objectives.

Serves as the main point of contact for HR Talent Consultants, internal clients and external partner organizations regarding sourcing project plans.

Provides activity updates and recommendations to HR Talent Consultants and hiring managers regarding sourcing projects.

Develops, supports, and executes talent attraction strategies such as email campaigns, lead generation follow up, and recruitment events.

Demonstrates proficiency in data mining resume banks, job boards, and social media platforms to engage passive candidates. 

 

Physical Requirements

Work requires typing, filing, use of telephone and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Stretching, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling are required a moderate amount of the time. May lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis. Some standing and walking is required. Must speak and understand English fluently. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate and concentrate effectively. Good hearing is required for related communications

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in human resources, communications or related field required. 2 years of related healthcare experience. 2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred. HR certification (i.e., CSSR, CCP, PHR, SPHR or CEBS) preferred based on role. Has excellent oral and written communication skills. Has strong computer and customer service skills. Experience with recruiting software (CRM, ATS, etc.). Data mining databases, Boolean search, Indeed Resume, LinkedIn and other social media outlets. Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.

 

**Healthcare experience preferred.**
