Atrium Health is seeking a GI Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for their Kenilworth location.

Job details:

  • Outpatient with very rare assistance with inpatient
  • One holiday a year required.
  • 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Perform in person patient evaluations and medication management for adult patients over the age of 18 throughout the lifespan in the ED, hospital, and clinic settings. 
  • Responsible for evaluating, stabilizing, and treating patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases.  The GI APP will also help with insertion, change, and removal of percutaneous gastrostomy feeding tubes.

Who you are:

  • Experienced APP with at least 2 years of Gastroenterology experience
  • Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification required based upon population and acuity served.
  • Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
  • APP who can demonstrate appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • APP who has the ability to prioritize and make proactive decisions.
