Palliative Care NP at Main

Overview

Carolinas Palliative Care & Hospice Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner join their growing inpatient Palliative Care team. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a record of experience with a strong interest in palliative care and advanced illness.

Position Highlights:

• Inpatient role with working hours of Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
• Join large team of experienced 2 physicians, 5 NP’s, 3 RN’s, 2 SW’s. Chaplain support available throughout the hospital.
• On call rotation every 10 to 12 weeks or approximately 3 – 4x a year.
• Excellent team-oriented work culture & collegiality among providers and staff.
• Interested in teaching? This program hosts medical students, residents, and ACP fellows.

Who you are:

• Graduate from an accredited NP program with master’s degree or doctorate degree in nursing practice. (Acute Care, Adult, Family, or Gerontological concentration) 
• Willing and able to receive Advanced Nursing Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care within 18 months of hire.

Recent graduates will be considered with a Palliative Care Fellowship.
