Overview
What you will do:
Plans activities and interventions to aid pediatric patients in coping with hospitalization, Assists patients in the continuation of normal growth and development during hospitalization, uses appropriate teaching materials to prepare children/families for procedures and hospitalization.
What you will need:
Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate
Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Recreation Therapy, Child Development, Education or a closely related field
Clinical internship in Child Life and/or Recreation Therapy required
One year of experience preferred
Child Life and/or Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred.
