Systems Analyst III

Overview

Assists or leads large complex projects to install and/or maintain software systems.  Duties include translating user requirements for the best possible technical solution, identifying problem causes, designing a solution, modifying the application or process, testing, implementation and documentation of the solution.  Project leadership duties will include involvement in hardware/software selection, defining project by establishing a detailed project work plan with tasks to be completed, resources required, and timeframes required to meet goals, on large scale projects.  Project leadership roles will also include directing and monitoring progress on project tasks, defining and managing project budget, making formal presentations to project team on accomplishments, issues and solutions alternatives.  Additional duties include but are not limited to monitoring system performance, applicable interfaces; share in on-call responsibilities for assigned systems.  Communication to users and management are essential additional duties.  The Systems Analyst III ensures that all applications are designed to meet user needs, run properly and interface to other Client systems as needed with efficiency in a production environment.
