Atrium Health Employer Health Solutions is comprised of experienced full-time advanced practice providers (APP) with a minimum of 4 years of practice experience, preferably in primary care/family practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing minimally invasive procedures as listed below. This position is occupied by a board-certified nurse practitioners (NP) or physician assistant (PA) who is specifically trained and proficient in ambulatory medicine, primary care (chronic disease management and preventative healthcare) and occupational medicine. The provider in this position will serve as the health care provider for a designated employer. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, stabilizing, and treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions as well as performing occupational medicine examinations. The provider is expected to oversee and manage daily operations of their clinic, ensuring appropriate clinical staff workflow, teamwork and communication, outstanding patient experience and team compliance with system metrics and protocols. It is also expected the provider will offer insight and recommendations leading to support and growth of the clinic and share critical information with leaders and managers in a timely manner. Patient care may include, but is not limited to, patients experiencing acute symptomatic complaints, control of chronic disease and worker’s compensation injuries.
