Job Summary

Assists human resource team with planning and implementing programs and initiatives of the System. Supports day-to-day activities and workflow of the HR division. Responds to teammate and leader inquiries related to policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Provides assistance for various aspects of Celebrating Service awards including maintenance and data for of service dates, coordination with award vendor, distribution of awards, planning for venue, communications for System-wide and HR specific events.
  • Assists with the distribution of communications. Ensures that communication and follow up with divisions and teammates is timely regarding activities.
  • Maintains human resources databases and records; enters updates, and retrieves information.
  • Serves a point person for leaders and teammates for questions and concerns.
  • Provides information by responding to telephone or written verifications of employment and other requests for information; answering questions and requests.
  • Provides HR support to team for meetings, special projects, and teammate events.
  • Assists with delivery and maintenance of divisional query requests to include; service recognition dates, licensure reporting, termination reporting, and workforce demographics reports for customers and team.

Physical Requirements

Work requires typing, filing, use of telephone and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Stretching, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling are required a moderate amount of the time. May lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis. Some standing and walking is required. Must speak and understand English fluently. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate and concentrate effectively. Good hearing is required for related communications.

Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year of related experience required. Good oral and \written communication skills, good customer relations, be organized and attentive to details required. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to take directions from more than one person and be able to prioritize work. Must be able to handle a high volume of paper flow, multiple tasks, be flexible and detail orientated.
