Overview

Job Summary: To create an experience that communicates care, respect and attention to the personal needs of patients, families and visitors at The Medical Center Navicent Health (MCNH).   To provide safe transportation for patients when being discharged from MCNH.

Create a great first impression for the hospital.  Process all communications in a courteous, prompt and professional manner.  Provides information to callers, medical staff and other hospital personnel as requested.

Specifications:

  1. Education:  High school diploma or GED required.                   

 

  1. Experience:     Two years experience in customer service, business office environments with healthcare related office of a communications center preferred.  Prefer healthcare experience and medical terminology.  Requires excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to communicate well in person, in writing and on the phone.  Must be able to work effectively in pressured situations and demonstrate the ability to diffuse escalating situations.  Requires strong problem solving skills.  Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
  2. Certification/License/Registration:    CPR/Valid Georgia Drivers license.
