Overview
What you will do:
Directs, modifies, and administers physical therapy modalities and treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The PTA ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. The PTA participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities. PTAs participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree in physical therapy
Georgia Physical Therapy Assistant License
New graduates will be considered
