Pediatric Rare Disease and Complex Care - APP

Summary

Due to the generosity of WARD’S Foundation, Atrium Health Levine Children’s in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (PNP-AC or PA) to join The Ward Winslett Center for Pediatric Rare Disease. This position will be a part of a new multi-disciplinary team that will care for pediatric patients with rare and medically-complex diseases. The team will include an APP, physician leader, LCSW, CMA, genetic counselor, and nurse navigator.

Position Highlights

• Provides inpatient and outpatient consultations in a family-centered care coordination model.
• Member of core care team that develops/maintains effective care plans to maximize well-being and proactively anticipate health problems likely to arise. 
• Develops collaborative relationships with other colleagues, including General Pediatrics, Genetics, Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Pediatric Palliative Care.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00

Requirements

• Licensed PNP-AC or PA-C with at least 2 years of experience.
• Must have, or be eligible for, a DEA license.
• Knowledgeable and passionate about pediatric complex care and rare diseases.
