Overview
Shift Details: 7p – 7a, 36 hrs/wk
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience are eligible for a bonus of $10,000 for Full Time positions, and $5,000 for Part Time positions. 6A is a cardiac intermediate post-procedural unit that specializes in post-cardiac catheterization laboratory intervention care and sheath removal/maintenance. The patient population includes, but is not limited to: electrophysiology, coronary, and structural intervention procedures. Patients requiring open heart surgery are not included in the patient population. 6A is a very fast-paced specialty unit that also provides care to minimally invasive procedures performed in the hybrid OR.

Job Summary
Responsible for the direct provision of patient care and for assisting the manager with daily operations to include but not limited to coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, selection, development, and retention of staff, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
