Overview

Registration Specialist Team Lead:
Provides direct supervision to Ambassadors and Access Navigation Hub Specialists. Includes working in a fast-paced telephone call center environment.  Accountable for accurate and timely registrations, charge posting, and cash posting. Monitors quality performance and productivity standards for personnel by reviewing completed work and ensuring compliance to divisional standards. Works closely with the Quality Control group to ensure monitoring, timely correction, and action related to accurate scheduling and registrations. Assists patients with rapid registrations for walk-in patients and monitors all patients’ check-in process taking necessary action when check-in failures or changes to patient’s information occurs and possesses superior problem-solving skills. Maintains quality performance and productivity standards. Assists with cash collections and accurate gathering of insurance information in accordance with EMTALA regulations. 

Education and Experience needed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required. (Substitute 6 years of related experience as the education requirement)
  • Three years of experience in Business, Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, Customer Service, or related field.
