Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced candidates are eligible up to $5,000 for Part Time positions, and up to $10,000 for Full Time positions. Job Summary
Plans, directs, and supervises the technical aspects of their assigned specialty and within their assigned division in regard to all services and programs rendered resulting in a uniform systemized department.
Essential FunctionsPhysical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies. Work requires walking, standing, sitting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling during normal operations. Requires mental capacity to understand the assigned area of clinical expertise or technology. Motor coordination needed to operate equipment including various computer systems. Intact sense of sight and hearing. Required to use radiation safety, MRI safety, and proper ergonomics to maintain an effective, safe environment.
Education, Experience and CertificationsGraduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound program based on assigned area. Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the designated field is required. Leadership experience preferred.
For Ultrasound: Registry/Certification required by the ARDMS with Vascular certification preferred.
For CT Scanning: Registry required by the ARRT with advanced certification in CT
For MRI: Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI required within one year of hire. CPR certification required.
For AV: Registry required by the ARRT with advanced certification in MRI or CT
For Echo: Completion of certification or registry in Echocardiography RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required.
