Overview

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Division of Child Neurology seeks a Pediatric Neuromuscular Specialist to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC.  The division currently has 10 child neurologists, including 4 epileptologists, 1 movement disorders specialist, and 5 general child neurologists, along with 5 advance practice professionals.  
 
Responsibilities will include:
•    Clinical care in inpatient and ambulatory settings with an emphasis on neuromuscular disorders
•    Conduct electrophysiologic studies, including EMG/NCV
•    Participate in the Pediatric MDA Clinic
•    Prescribe gene therapy treatments, including those for SMA and DMD
•    Share inpatient call 1:7 with other child neurologists
•    Education of residents and medical students
•    Optional participation in research and quality improvement projects
