Overview
E.D. Patient Access Representative:
Works in fast paced Emergency Center and front line registration area. Relying heavily on HIM system’s ED tracker board to ensure all patients are registered after the medical screening has been completed. Ensures all dealings with the public are handled in an exceptionally, professional manner. Is the insurance expert performing all accurate and timely registration functions in Meditech. Assists patients with rapid registrations for walk-in Outpatients monitors. Must be a positive, well-organized, and motivated individual capable of motivating others to positive outcomes.
Education, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Three years of experience in Business, Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, Customer Service or related field.
