Overview

Job Summary

Develop, operationalize, execute, support and evaluate from conception through maturation strategic marketing, product, brand, communication, digital footprint, or outreach plan for enterprise promotion. Develop and manage site, program, project, or campaign ensuring enterprise and departmental strategic goals and objectives are met. Conduct online, field, or direct observation research to recommend and determine effectiveness as well as the consumer satisfaction of promotion and/or marketing strategy.



Essential Functions

 

  • Ensure brand guideline adherence for a full portfolio of brands
  • Project manage traditional advertising such as out of home & print
  • Maintain a clear plan to showcase campaigns in traditional channels
  • Work with service line teams to develop product & service name recommendations based on consumer data
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and communicate timeline
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Communicates with department teammates and supervisor on a daily basis and serves as a peer leader in managing projects.
  • Demonstrates a team player attitude and a positive approach to maintain collaboration across all work units within the department.
  • Takes advantage of opportunities for self-improvement; contributes to annual goals and professional development plan.
Physical Requirements

 

Works primarily remote. Occasional evening and weekend work. Requires walking, standing, bending or moving around campus and/or other facilities. Requires the ability to drive and operate a personal vehicle. Requires reading, comprehending, editing or designing materials. Requires clear and effective communication. Requires reading materials, speaking clearly on the telephone, and operating computer keyboard. Requires the experience and ability to operate audiovisual equipment. Requires the occasional lifting of documents or supplies.



Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Promotion, Communication, or Computer Science. Master's preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting enterprise marketing or sales campaigns preferably in a large integrated multi-site/state organization. Technical experience may include: use of Sitecore, structured data elements, knowledge of HTML 4/5 & CSS 3 (able to write/edit/troubleshoot code using a text editor), basic knowledge of responsive/mobile layout techniques (able to use Bootstrap to create a page layout), or basic knowledge of web page performance testing and optimization. Generally, requires the ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once. Prefer experience with traditional media buying and planning, marketing and advertising experience. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in marketing, advertising, communications or other related fields
  • Excellent client-facing skills; internal and external 
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to balance multiple tasks at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid project management skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop is a plus
