Overview

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group (AHNMG), in Macon, GA is currently seeking a full-time Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant serves under the direction of the physician(s). Responsibilities include direct patient care in various settings, including but not limited to, private office, emergency department, operating room, inpatient and outpatient hospital areas. This position provides care that is delivered based on individual needs using established protocols with an emphasis on health promotion, recovery, and patient/family education.  Responsibilities other than direct provision of patient care include education, research, and collaboration with physicians and support services.

 Requirements:

Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant. 

Must hold/maintain certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensure from the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.  ACLS/PALS certifications required.
