Atrium Women’s Care-Creek Pointe OBGYN, part of Atrium Health, is currently recruiting a BE/BC OB Laborist to join our growing practice based in Matthews, NC. 

Position Highlights:

• 7 call days per month; 24-hour shifts
• Option for additional call shifts
• Call 1:4
• Practice consists of 3 OBGYN Laborists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• 35 anticipated monthly deliveries at Atrium Women’s Care-Creek Pointe OBGYN

Union County is one of the fastest growing counties in NC and is geographically located between the mountains and the coast, with close proximity to Charlotte. Union County has many wonderful neighborhoods, as well as excellent public and private educational opportunities. Atrium Health-Union West is on the I-485 perimeter of Charlotte and conveniently positioned between Atrium Health-Union (12 miles) and our tertiary hospital in South Charlotte, Atrium Health-Pineville (15 miles). 

About the Hospital:
Atrium Health-Union West will open as a 40-bed hospital in Matthews, NC. The campus is located in a fast-growing market and will have 10 ED bays, 4 ICU beds, 4 ORs, endoscopy, and comprehensive imaging services. The medical office building will feature primary and subspecialty care with a cardiovascular office offering cardiology and vascular provider access, as well as echocardiography, stress testing and vascular imaging. Twelve miles to the southeast is Atrium Health-Union, a 175-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Over the past 15-plus years our hospital has been serving the Monroe area, and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.
