M-F 8-4:30 during orientation and then 4' 9 hour shifts and a half day
This LPN position with the LCI Rare/Complex Clinic will fill the role of the New Patient Referral Coordinator (NPRC). This role is the powerhouse of the ambulatory setting by facilitating all incoming referrals for our very busy clinic in the Rare and Complex/ Head and Neck department. The NPRC is a crucial role that manages all incoming referrals to obtain records make the initial contact with the patient to verify insurance and medical records, and schedules consult appointment. This role facilitates over 500 referrals per month, all time sensitive, and is responsible to getting the patients in to see an oncologist in a timely fashion.

This includes tasks such as patient intake at office visit, exceptional patient care, documentation, vaccine and medication administration, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
Essential Functions
Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 lbs in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Must speak, read, and write Basic English fluently. Intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Manual finger dexterity.
