Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience are eligible for a bonus of $20,000 for Full Time positions, and $10,000 for Part Time positions. Atrium Health Union West is a brand new 10-bed emergency department to be staffed with RNs and healthcare techs. Patient census and acuity will vary, and staffing will fluctuate to accommodate.
In order to bring high quality, convenient access to care for the residents of western Union County, Atrium Health is building a new hospital campus.
Opening late 2021, Atrium Health Union West will be located at the intersection of Independence Blvd./Highway 74 and Stallings Road in Stallings, NC. The hospital will offer emergency, inpatient and outpatient care in Union County to better support the needs of the community.

Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
