Overview

Job Summary

Responsible for developing and project managing components of strategic projects and initiatives. Develops observations through quantitative and qualitative analysis contributing to strategic insight. Experience organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data to optimize business operations, and communicating their findings using data visualization and detailed reports. Utilizing a variety of tools and inputs to create clear and concise strategic insights to guide system- level strategic decision making. Manages highly sensitive and complex projects supporting the development and execution of Atrium Health’s strategic roadmap.

Essential Functions

Analysis

  • Utilizes a range of data sources including market share data, internal operational data, market projections, and desktop research to provide analytical support to Enterprise Strategic Partners analyses.
  • Conducts desktop research on market, payer, physician, patient, and competitive trends to identify key insights to inform strategic planning efforts.
  • Develops analytical models to contribute to business plans, business cases, pro formas, return on investment analyses, etc.
  • Under direction of the Director, translates analyses into thorough and insightful conclusions and outputs, to succinctly deliver recommendations to stakeholders via reports, presentations, and other tools.

Strategic Projects

  • In collaboration with the client and other project team members, leads the development of the business needs and scope of projects. 
  • Facilitates working sessions and teams of stakeholders to obtain necessary project information.
  • Writes, depicts, and presents deliverables in a logical, clear, and concise manner for various audiences.
  • Manages and executes multiple, concurrent projects with little supervision.
  • Develops and monitors Management Action Plan (MAP) development, tracking and administration.

Physical Requirements

 

Work requires sitting at a desk, working on a computer, talking on the telephone, and preparing reports and other statistical data in an office environment. Must be able to stand, walk and travel in personal car to other facilities. Work also requires the carrying of up to 20 pounds of materials (files, projectors, laptops). Able to work rapidly and accurately under pressure.



Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 4 years experience in healthcare setting required. Master's Degree in Business, Health Administration or Finance preferred.
