AVP Teammate, Patient and Physician Experience

Job Summary

Directs and administers the Patient Experience Initiative for Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA.  This role facilitates experience initiatives that support patient and physician satisfaction, service management and all Patient Experience activities.

Essential Functions

  • Plans, evaluates, and directs the Patient Experience and Physician & Teammate experience programs for the Navicent Market.
  • Collaborates with executive and key leadership stakeholders throughout varied physician service lines to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversees the coaching process for all facilities and coordinates activities in conjunction with Director, Patient Experience.
  • Assists Leadership in the planning of a systematic approach to patient experience by an annual review of the monitoring activities.
  • Prepares written justifications for capital and operational budget requests for the patient and physician experience initiatives.
  • Monitors the salary and non-salary expenses incurred as a part of the overall operating budget and works to contain costs whenever possible.
  • Serves as a resource to all hospital, provider and Medical Staff departments at Atrium Health Navicent facilities for issues pertaining to Patient Experience.
  • Works in conjunction with Telehealth Solutions to coordinate initial response to complaints received via Customer Care Line.
  • Oversees assignment of complaint to appropriate administrative team member.

Education, Experience and Certifications

MD or MSN and MBA Degrees required. 5 years’ progressive management experience required (Healthcare preferred).
