Shift Details: Part Time Night Weekender; 24 hrs/week
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience are eligible for a bonus of $20,000 for Full Time positions, and $10,000 for Part Time positions. Atrium Health Kings Mountain Emergency Department is a 15 bed ED that serves all patient populations, including pediatrics. This ED values teamwork, strong critical thinking skills, and prioritization of care. We are a fast-paced unit that requires great time management skills. We collaborate with various other departments to assure patient throughput. Our team encourages professional development through participation in our Unit Based Council, Shared Governance, and professional certification.
Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with policies and procedures under the supervision of the supervisor and manager. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patients served.
