Interested applicants are invited to join Atrium Health’s Dosimetry service working alongside dynamic care teams and supporting radiation oncology operations at 9 clinics in the Greater Charlotte area. Atrium Health’s Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) provides patients with access to nationally renowned physicians and state-of-the-art treatments at 25 cancer care locations, including 9 radiation therapy centers. LCI was named to US News and World Report’s 2020-21 “Best Hospitals for Cancer Care” list. Coverage duties may include on-site and remote coverage at multiple facilities within the Atrium Health network.
A successful applicant for this role is expected to provide dosimetry services related to the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with the radiation oncologist's prescription. Proficiency with Varian Eclipse is a desired skillset.
LCI rad therapy clinics are equipped with Varian treatment planning (Eclipse v16.1), EMR (ARIA 15.6/16.1) and treatment delivery systems. One LCI clinic is equipped with RayStation (V7) TPS, Mosaiq EMR and an Elekta Infinity. Each clinic is equipped with a CT Simulator (GE/Philips). LCI clinics have active SBRT and SRS programs and employ Surface Image Guidance Technology. MIM Maestro image management software is also available.
Visual and motor skills required. Ability to lift minimum of 40 pounds. Travel to other locations.
Education, Experience and Certifications
HS Diploma or GED required. Board certified required or required within 1 year of employment. Min 2 years of medical dosimetry experience preferred.
