Overview

Job Summary

This position is for a specialist on the corporate events and sports marketing team to help with activation and project management of events. This position works to build awareness of the organization’s brand and service lines among the community through various activation strategies and tactics. The ideal candidate would help to bring campaigns to life at a local level, planning and executing local marketing plans specific to each partner.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as a representative for Atrium Health and for the Marketing, Communications and Consumer team, coordinating and executing enterprise-wide initiatives and providing excellent customer service in all interactions. 
  • Support on-site execution and operations on event days
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks and workload
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be exceptionally detail oriented with a hyper-focus on accuracy.
  • Manages multiple projects independently, drafts recommendations, customizes processes/outputs to audience. 
  • Helps to support a culture of teamwork, learning, innovation and accountability. 
  • Exhibits timely decision-making skills and effective priority setting.
  • Interacts with departments across the organization, with senior staff and with other critical functions staff as needed and as appropriate on issues and matters related to the goals and priorities of the organization.
  • Helps enforce and manage the organization’s brand identity and adheres to brand guidelines.

Physical Requirements
Works primarily in at-home office environment but needs to be flexible to work evening and weekend hours for activation needs. Position requires walking around campus and/or other facilities. Must be able to drive and have access/use of a personal vehicle. Requires reading materials, speaking clearly on the telephone, and operating computer keyboard. Occasional lifting of documents or supplies.

Educational Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, communications or business required. 0- 5 years’ experience planning events or managing multiple marketing projects. Must be able to work quickly under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once. Excellent written and verbal skills required. Ability to set clear goals and execute projects from start to finish. Prior experience in marketing or sports management preferred.
