Performs a variety of quality administrative and support functions for the department.
- Creates documents using computer software from dictation, written draft or verbal instructions.
- Performs data entry, system maintenance and revision, creation of reports, studies and other documents for the department.
- Maintains confidentiality of information.
- Participates in a variety of special projects and functions for the department.
Most of work is performed from a comfortable seated position, operating a computer terminal requiring manual dexterity. Reasonably amount of time standing or walking. Routinely bends, stoops, kneels and reaches. Minor moving, lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires intermediate visual acuity. Must be able to hear and verbally communicate with others.
Education, Experience and Certifications.
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field preferred. Two years’ experience with Microsoft Office and utilizing spreadsheets required. Prefer experience in a comparable role.
