Overview
What you will do:
Collects and prepares specimens for testing procedures. Prepares microscopic slides from surgery and autopsy specimens for examinations under the supervision of a Clinical Histology Supervisor.
What is required:
High school diploma or GED.
Successful completion of approved program in Histological Technique or equivalent.
Certification as Histologic Tech by ASCP Board or eligible - must be obtained within six months from hire date.
