Overview

What you will do:
Works in fast paced telephone call center environment.  Assists in evaluating, directing, and maintaining the registration hub processes focused primarily on all interactions with patients. Ensures that processes can meet the patient expectations while maintaining integrity of patient billing information as set forth by the Director of Access Navigation and/or the Assistant Vice President of Access Navigation and Integrated Care Management. Provides direct and general supervision to the Navigation access hub specialists and team leaders.  Accountable for assisting the Director in providing patient/customer focused services for the medical necessity of bedded patients as well as any issues arising with authorization. Assists in evaluating and maintaining the entry processes focused primarily on customer-oriented interactions with patients.     

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Communication, Business, or Healthcare related field preferred but not required
  • Experience:  Four (4) years experience in Business, Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, Customer Service or related field. 
  • Certification/License/Registration:    CFC, CPAR, CHAA, or other approved Access Navigation certification required within 1 year of accepting the position
