4M CV Stepdown is a 24-bed private telemetry unit whose primary focus is caring for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative progressive care patients, and also cares and supports med/surg overflow patients. 4M Teammates' mission is to provide patients with the highest level of safe, quality clinical care using evidence-based practice and an outstanding patient/family experience with respect, caring and kindness. CV Stepdown teammates new to critical care are enrolled in the Critical Care Academy (CCA).
Heart Tower 5 is primarily designated for pre and post vascular and cardiac procedural patients, focusing on heart health and patient education. Teammates on HT5 are dedicated to seeing their patients make the long journey through life, and work hard to educate on lifestyle changes related to congestive heart failure and other cardiac diseases. HT5 also cares and supports med/surg overflow patients.
Heart Tower 6 is primarily designated for pre and post-operative procedures, including cardiac catherization, pacemaker placement, and electrophysiology studies. Teammates on HT6 major focus is the heart, however extends care and treatment to patients suffering from other organ system diseases. HT6 also cares and supports med/surg overflow patients.
Heart Tower 7 is primarily designated to deliver a wide range of acute and chronic disease processes, including, but not limited to, congestive heart failure patients and cardiology patients requiring diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical interventions for atrial fibrillation and other dysrhythmias. HT7 teammates' major focus is the heart, however extends care and treatment to patients suffering from other organ system diseases. HT7 also cares and supports med/surg overflow patients.
