"The Emergency Center specializes in the emergent/urgent care of all patient populations, pediatric-geriatric. In 1998, our EC received designation as a Level I Trauma Center, one of only five in the entire state of Georgia. We are one of two Level I Trauma Centers found south of Atlanta, becoming Georgia‚Äôs first nationally verified Level I Trauma Center in 2016. Patients are flown to our facility via helicopter from south of Atlanta to as far south as Jacksonville, Florida.

RN Graduates are enrolled in a 20-wk Emergency Nurse Orientation (ENO) program. 


What you can expect:  

  • ENO is a competency-based orientation program that includes: 

    • bedside experience with a dedicated Preceptor 

    • didactic online classes utilizing an Emergency Nurses Association dedicated education platform 

    • In-person seminars to connect the didactic learning with the clinical experience 

    • simulation labs to increase assessment, competency, and critical thinking skills. 

  • Compassionate leadership and teammates 

  • Teamwork and support staff of clinical techs, unit secretaries, and ancillary departments 

  • Continuing education program created with your experience level and individual needs 


What you will need: 

  • Current nursing student who is graduating from an accredited RN education program
