Overview

Job Summary

Responsible for serving as the administrative lead on grants within the department including operations, budgets, funder and partner relationship management, internal leadership across cross-sector departments and project management. Ensures the fulfillment of grant objectives, adherence to reporting timelines, and compliance requirements the management of each individual grant which requires critical thinking, project management, reporting, grant writing and budget experience.

 

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for grant operations and management including grant management, reporting, timelines, project management and outcomes
  • Supports data collection and grant evaluation strategies aligned with overall Impact Evaluation leadership and goals
  • Works in collaboration multiple internal departments, external partners, funders and others to lead complex grant timelines and achieve outcomes
  • Responsible for grant development, writing proposals, developing progress reports and evaluation reports
  • Works in collaboration the Community Health and Foundation leadership to support grant and private donor strategy that includes the identification of regional and national funding opportunities
  • Supports the dissemination of evidence through academic and non-academic channels including academic journals and presenting papers at scientific meetings and forums to establish AH as a value leader nationally

 

Physical Requirements

Will work in office environment for preparing reports and documents or projects determined by leader.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred in business, public health, health services research, health care administration, public administration or policy and/or government studies. Minimum of two years of experience in project management, grant development, grant management, population health, community-based public health and/or a related field. Previous experience leading or co-leading grants preferred.
