Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Director for our Hospice Pine Point facility!   

This is a wonderful opportunity to join an amazing facility with compassionate, experienced and talented teammates.  
Provides Leadership to the organization ensuring the mission, vision & values of the organization are supported through the actions of the organization.  Oversees operation improvement, risk management and staff education.  Oversees development of mechanisms to assess compliance with regulatory standards and implements action plans.  Implements and administers the operational processes of the hospice which includes the hospice home program and the inpatient facility program (Pine Pointe).  Works with the Medical Director to ensure medical component of hospice care is carried out as prescribed.  Collaborates with the Senior Vice President in strategic planning, program development, budget development and establishing infrastructure for Hospice. Serves as the hospice Administrator and fulfills the role of the hospice (DON) director of nurses as required by the state of Georgia hospice rules and regulations.

Education, Training, and Experience

Health care professional licensed to practice in the state of Georgia with at least one year of supervisory or management experience in a hospice setting; or an individual with education, training, and experience in health service administration with at least two years of supervisory or management experience in a hospice setting.

Other Job Requirements, Licenses, Certifications

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.  Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to use visual acuity to see monitor screen, computer and hard copy materials.  Must be able to hear and verbally communicate in person and over the phone or radio. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time (up to 2 hours).  Must be able to comprehend and learn operation of various office equipment.  Must have functional range of motion of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spines, upper and lower extremities with a grip strength of 50-60# specific to job evaluation.  Must be able to forward reach, overhead reach, bend, squat, kneel and apply proper body mechanics during the transfers and transport supplies and/or equipment using proper body mechanics. Must be able to lift up to 10# specific to job evaluation.
