Triage Assistant - Paramedic PRN

Overview

What will you do: 
Under the direction of the RN, performs additional delegated duties and responsibilities beyond a Clinical Technician III. Must demonstrate competency in basic direct patient care, throughput processes, unit-specific complex skills and additional functionality as required by the unit. Must demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization and prioritization skills. Is responsible for designated equipment and supplies used in the care of assigned patients. Must be flexible in changing assignments, workload and learning new skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. Will be utilized in EC area only.

What will you need: 
High school diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Paramedic program
One year paramedic experience. Current State of Georgia Paramedic license
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Cardiac Rhythms
