Academic Faculty Physician - Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle

Overview

The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time, Academic Faculty Physician – Foot and Ankle in North Carolina.

The selected individual will be actively involved in both inpatient and outpatient duties including:

• Candidate is able to treat conditions related to the foot and ankle.
• Orthopaedic and podiatric resident teaching, clinical and laboratory research opportunities available
• Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 4-6 nights per month general orthopaedic call
• Patient care in a busy foot and ankle practice in Winston Salem, North Carolina with potential additional locations to be mutually determined
• 3 foot and ankle and 10 podiatric partners in Department for seamless referrals and collaboration
• APP and clinical support provided
• Eligible for NC Medical License
• Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in foot and ankle
