The Quality Improvement and QMS Coordinator performs primary data abstractor duties for core measures as assigned. Ensures high level of abstraction accuracy. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of data definition for all data collection measurement. Monitors and advances the Quality Management System (QMS) Committee workflow and contributes to compliance with CMS, DNV/ISO 9001:2015 standards by facilitating information flow from Meso levels and Pediatric Quality to Quality Management Oversight Committee. Maintains the Microsoft Team folders site for ease of use and readiness for DNV internal audits and surveys. Reports to Manager on weekly basis regarding status of chart abstraction and quality issues. Assists with meeting QMS/quality standards. Assists various departments and service lines with Leapfrog data collection. Responsible for education and internal consultation for leaders in regard to external regulatory standards and quality improvement activities. Serves as the quality coordinator for assigned activities such as coordinating and facilitating micro, meso and other meetings.
What you will need:
Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience; Quality experience a plus
Excellent problem solving, teaching ability, verbal and written communications, interpersonal and computer skills.
Experience with facilitating teams and working collaboratively with other departments.
