Overview

The Trauma Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance in the trauma program and works closely with the multi-disciplinary health care team to identify opportunities for improvement. The coordinator also assists with the management of the Medical Center Navicent Health Trauma Registry and trauma informatics, including data retrieval and collection, data download, and entry from other database applications and sources, data cleaning, statistics, analysis, and presentation of data both internally and externally. Must be comfortable with both interpreting the clinical care provided to trauma patients and be comfortable with advanced computing and database administration.

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Current Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license
  • Must have ER or Adult-Peds Trauma experience. 
  • Four (4) to (6)  years of nursing experience in emergency department, surgical, or critical care with increasing responsibility and interest in trauma care; experience with data base management.  Certification in trauma nursing or healthcare quality is preferred.
