This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience are eligible for a bonus of $10,000 for Full Time positions, and $5,000 for Part Time positions. This 20-bed adult Progressive Care / Step Down ICU unit is Atrium Health Mercy's newest unit. This is a great opportunity to join the Atrium Health family and to be a part of the growth and development of this exciting new unit! The patients in the PCU tend to have complex, chronic diseases and require complex nursing skills with diagnoses including sepsis, renal failure, respiratory failure, DKA, and intervention with titratable drips.

Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
