Job SummaryFormulates and defines System-wide scope and fulfills objectives for projects. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications system analysis and programming activities. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Provides leadership, guidance and training to assigned team.
Must be able to lift objects that weigh up to 35 pounds. Work environment is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines, personnel evaluation, and counseling. Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required, as needed. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner.
High School Diploma or GED required. Formal training in a variety of Information Systems technology preferred. Healthcare Industry background is preferred. Expert in 2 applications: Power BI, Business Objects, Caboodle, or ArcGIS preferred. Familiar with clinical and billing data from Cerner and EPIC preferred. Proven ability to run projects and mentor lesser experienced team mates. A general understanding of data warehousing and date modeling is preferred.
