Job Summary

Provides leadership in the development and modification of information systems and analytics.



Essential Functions

  • Develops, tests, documents, and maintains information systems.
  • Provides support and evaluation of staff.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify and understand business impact of decisions made to fulfill customer expectations.
  • Provides leadership and support for establishing goals of information systems.
  • Serves as liaison for Informatics database-driven web applications and Windows applications.
  • Provides leadership and mentoring for information systems applications.

Physical Requirements

Requires ability to lift and move items 35 lbs. from floor to waist-high tables or shelves six feet above floor level.



Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5 years full life cycle experience in building a medium/large Database Management System. 5 years of experience with Microsoft web technologies in the Visual Studio .Net environment and/or Client Server Database Applications. 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle PL/SQL with an emphasis in stored procedure development. 4 years in healthcare planning, operations, or managed care preferred. Expertise in database and application development tools is required. Proven success developing reporting solutions and applications to meet business needs. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence best practices and techniques. Strong understanding of ETL processes and how to design develop & implement well integrated processes. Experience with Windows command line shell scripting. Strong communication skills necessary to be effective communicating at all levels of the organization. Highly proficient with a variety of information systems technologies is preferred; desktop applications and databases.
