Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Full time, 3rd shift with the Inpatient Diagnostic X-ray team
  • 3rd shift differential pay in addition to base rate
  • Incentive: Eligible new hire candidate can receive up to $15,000 bonus (up to $10,000 for new Technologist graduate)

Job Summary 

Performs diagnostic radiology procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.

Assists radiologists and other qualified staff physicians with invasive procedures, patient scheduling, clerical and image processing functions.

Required Education, Certification, and Registration: 

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology such as an Associate Degree in Radiography. 
  • Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.  One year experience with patients preferred.
  • Currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and must become registered within 12 months of hire.  
  • Current BLS certification.

  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff

  • Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
