Atrium Health Navicent, the leading healthcare system in Central Georgia, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 5 Heart Tower Cardiac Telemetry unit. This unit provides specialized care for cardiac patients requiring continuous monitoring. As an RN, you will be essential to ensuring exceptional care and supporting our mission to improve the health and well-being of our community. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring
• Assess patient needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement comprehensive care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses
• Respond to changes in patient condition, provide timely interventions, and escalate care as necessary
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding care plans and progress
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital policies and regulations
• Provide education to patients and families to facilitate recovery and prevent complications
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following safety protocols
• Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance patient care outcomes
• Utilize a critical-thinking approach to problem-solving, ensuring evidence-based practices are implemented

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, with a current RN license in Georgia
• BSN preferred

Experience:

• 1+ years of acute care or cardiac telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a critical care setting or telemetry monitoring is highly desirable

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current RN licensure with the Georgia State Board of Nursing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
